Norman Park Bathroom, Ensuite + Robe Renovation
The brief was to renovate what I would say was Australia’s smallest Ensuite + WIR and Main bathroom for a lovely family in Norman Park
Project outcome
A beautifully refreshed Ensuite + robe. We adjusted the layout of this Ensuite slightly by removing the wall between the tiny Ensuite and WIR so that the vanity now backed onto and shared a part height wall with the shower. This allowed us to improve the flow with a little more elbow room. We retained some of the space – by containing the robe to just one wall and adding some mirrored doors which help to bounce plenty of natural light around the space and create the illusion that the space is larger than it is. The clients now actually want to use the space which is intended to be the parents space (instead of popping down the hall to the shared main bathroom).
For the beautifully refreshed Main Bathroom we again slightly adjusted the layout. We removed the bath (as the client no longer wanted one), adjusted the entry by borrowing from some of the unused end of hall space, rotated the WC and were able to include a large storage cupboard behind the WC as well as include a laundry chute.
What the client had to say:
“We are so grateful to you for designing such beautiful modifications to our bathrooms.
Heartfelt thanks for sharing your expertise, talent and creative designs with us.
You have made the whole experience a very enjoyable and easy process.
We are so grateful for your kindness and will definitely be in touch in the future.”
